Donation for Haiti

The Hillel Community presented a check for J$809,000.00 to the Salvation Army for its Haiti relief program. Students, families and staff contributed cash and clothing to the disaster relief drive. Money gathered from a "small coin" drive. J$142,000, had previously been donated. Two assemblies marked the donation. The Prep School celebration was led by the Brownie Troup, whose theme was "World Hunger". The High School Assembly focused on the events students created to help Haiti, and opened with a prayer.
