Prep School Literacy Week

Prep School Literacy Week began with an assembly that focused on rhyme and rhythm. Jamaican poet Lilieth Nelson was a special guest speaker who brought home the values of Jamaican spirit. She traced the consciousness of the island poetic tradition to Miss Lou and shared her own works. Grade 6 recited a snake charmer poem and Grade 5 acted out several Anancy fables. The message was: It is great to read!!"
